Data security should be a forethought rather than an afterthought. Therefore, aspiring Microsoft Cloud Security Engineers must be able to anticipate and proactively address security requirements at all stages of cloud computing to ensure a secure build, and ongoing security management of cloud platforms.

Implement and operate Microsoft cloud platforms while testing and optimising robust security infrastructures.

Analyse vulnerabilities, threats, communicate security diagnostics and policy recommendations with different teams.

Realise data-, network-, application- and container security measures like firewalls, identity and network access-controls and DDoS protections.

Assess the application needs of clients and collaborate with architects in advising them on the benefits of moving data ‘off-premise’.
